AirTube; space ventilation and filtration
The unit works as follows:
- (Polluted) air is sucked in at the top of the workshop.
- This air is filtered and blown back in at floor level near the welder (draught-free).
- The air spreads and rises with the welding fumes.
- This creates a continuous vertical air stream in which the polluted air is taken upwards towards the suction mechanism at the top of the space.
- Filtered air is continuously supplied into the welder’s breathing space.
In accordance with the guidelines the required room ventilation must consist for 1/3 out of outside air. 2/3 can be recirculated through the AirTube®.
